Its Christmas – and Corris Craft Centre is having a Christmas bash this weekend.
Bring the kids and see Santa in his underground grotto in the slate caverns of the old Braich Goch slate mines.
The craft units will be joining in the festivities, the cafe has seasonal goodies and there are traditional fun and games for all the family

It seems that Christmas is nearly upon us.
We have been inundated with requests for our own speciality Christmas Stockings for the kids and even the cats and dogs.
This has kept us very busy over the past few days, but productive in design and making of these fabric goodies.
We also have had requests for cushions as presents, many with a Welsh theme but some more individual like a watering can cushion for a keen gardener. Just shows that you can make virtually anything from fabric with a bit of imagination.
Keep those requests comming – we enjoy the challenge and the sewing.
